Guest Blog: Katy Overton Coaching

Would you like to improve the communication you have with your horse or pony on the ground? If so Katy Overton may be able to help.

She has coached horse handling for over 15 years, including working in Canada, Brazil, and South Africa. Initially a follower of the Parelli Natural Horsemanship program, she has since broadened her skills and knowledge, learning from True Connection training, TRT, Featherlight, Straightness training and Dressage Naturally.  She loves to learn and it always trying to improve her practice.

Katy also holds the BHS Stage 3 dressage coach qualification and cares about helping horses to move in a way that is physically beneficial as well as taking care of their mental and emotional state.

She can help with:

·       Spooky horses

·       Leading

·       Lateral work in hand

·       Lunging

·       Liberty

·       Dissolving tension

 She coaches in a calm, clear manner, with step-by-step progression, and would love to help you if you’re willing to commit to the process that will lead to achieving your ultimate goals. 

Clients must be within 15 miles of Dorchester unless there is a group at the same yard.
